Small Paintings

All works in this album are quite small ranging in size from 3x4, 4x5, and 5x7. They are simple and whimsical. I love using text and humor in my art so working like this makes senses to me. I often find myself (and I notice it in my young students) putting a "y" on the end of words or shortening up words to make them sound cute. Such as Zoms which is short for Zombie. This image gallery contains just some of the small paintings I've created exploring this idea. Many have sold since I started creating them in 2013 but I am constantly creating new ones and I take commissions. Would you like one of your pet, family, your favorite book or movie character?
