Snape was able to let his love for Lily motivate him to work towards ultimately saving Harry-which wasn’t always easy. There were many instances in the book in which characters were motivated by love. One situation that I thought was great but very unexpected was Narcissa Malfoy lying to Voldemort when asked to check to see if Harry was still alive because of her love for her son Draco. Her lie for love greatly changed the course of events.

Back to Snape… I couldn’t devote a section of this bulletin board to Snape without mentioning “The Bet”…well most of you reading this-if you were in my Harry Potter classes know of the bet Hannah and I made with each other.
